From as early as I can remember, I've found myself lost in story. I believe story is how humans learn best, how they communicate best, and how they find the most joy.

As an attorney, I am intrigued by (and find myself invested in) each of my clients' own personal stories. My job is to smooth out the plot to reach the goal in the best shape possible.

As a writer, I let stories work through me to help put other people in places they might not otherwise have been, to see things they might not otherwise have seen, to learn things they might not otherwise have learned. And I usually join them along the way.
